Ruby on Rails is a relative newcomer to the web development scene, but we fell in love with it about a year ago. It allows us to focus on the things that are important when creating websites, and completely forget about all of the trivial tasks that go into creating a well planned site. Our clients benefit greatly from this in many situations. Currently, we only do rails development for projects with complex requirements or sophisticated data manipulation needs, or as consultants to existing Rails projects. This is primarily because the development community as a whole has not fully embraced this platform, and most clients will get more use out of a PHP based solution. Most of the benefits of using rails can be found in EllisLab prodcts on PHP platforms, and we fully embrace those as well.
